Lamisil is also used to treat fungal nail infections that cause discoloration and weakness of the nails. It may sometimes be prescribed to treat other fungal infections based on the doctor diagnosis. The medicine must be used according to the doctor instructions and at the specified dose, making sure to complete the prescribed treatment period even if symptoms disappear before it ends.
